Schedule The Session

When capturing newborn pictures we recommend doing so within the first two weeks of the baby's life to capture their delicate features and sleepy poses. Keep the room warm to keep the baby comfortable and sleepy.

Coordinate Outfit & Props

We will have most of the props needed for the newborn pictures according to your choices. If you are selecting the outfit or props select simple neutral-colored outfits for the baby and any props you want to incorporate into the photos. Avoid clothing with busy patterns or logos that may distract from the baby's features.

Feed & Comfort the Baby

Before the session, feed the baby to ensure they are content and sleepy during the shot. Keep the baby swaddled and comfortable to prevent fussiness.

Be Patient

Newborns can be unpredictable, so be patient throughout the session. Allow time for feeding, diaper changes, and soothing the baby back to sleep.
